Kiwanis Club of Randolph: Leadership in the Community for over 46 Years
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. In connection with this mission, the Kiwanis Club of Randolph sponsors the Randolph High School Key Club, the Dover High School Key Club, and four elementary school K-Kid Clubs. These sponsored youth organizations help develop and inspire community service (and spirit) to our next generations.
Our service projects include the Randolph Freedom Festival and Kiwanis Freedom Parade, Habitat for Humanity Build Projects and Big Brother Big Sisters Clothing Drives.
With proceeds from our annual fund-raiser (The Morristown CraftMarket), the Kiwanis Club of Randolph has responded to urgent community needs. We have provided funding for the Randolph Police department to acquire a life saving Defibulator, specialized equipment for the neonatal care unit at Morristown Memorial Hospital and a special infa-red detection camera and ice rescue equipment for the Randolph Fire Department.
In addition, we have supported many local charities and organizations including; ARC of Morris County, Brundage Park Playhouse, Camperships for Girl Scouts of Northern NJ and BSA Patriots Path Council, Gold and Eagle Scout Awards, Inter Faith Food Pantry, Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Program (at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital), Morris County Housing Authority (Randolph Bennett Ave. Youth Projects), North Porch Women and Infants’ Center, Randolph Animal Pound, Randolph Food Pantry, and The Salvation Army (Dover), just to name a few. The Kiwanis Club of Randolph also awards four $3,000 scholarships to two Randolph High School Seniors annually.
The Kiwanis Club of Randolph, now in its 50th year, continues to dedicate itself to our mission and making our community more caring, safe and strong.
